Congratulations to Jamie and Alisha Wright of “Springfield” Greenethorpe who won the Short Wool section at the Mid-Lachlan ewe competition, 2022. Three generations of the Wright family have been using Brundanella genetics for nearly 30 years. Also, congratulations to their son James, who won the Brundanella Encouragement Award at the same event.

Commercial Reality
At Victoria Park, the commercial side of Brundanella, we join our C.F.A ewes and young classed out culls to white suffolk rams purchased from Kinellar White Suffolk & Poll Dorset Stud at Canowindra. We sell all the ewe portion of that joining back to Kinellar, who in turn join them to their own poll dorset rams with outstanding results. And remember the ewe (dam) has a bigger influence on the quality of that progeny because the ram (sire) supplies 50% of the genetics, whilst the dam supplies 50% of the genetics AND ALL of the nutrition! The Victoria Park Merino/white suffolk first cross ewes also produce an excellent cross bred fleece.
