Brundanella Merino Stud

Ian and Janet Griffith know that performance, flexibility and versatility are the crucial elements in the continuing viability of their own grazing and cropping enterprises.

The same concepts apply in their Merino Stud. Breeding a Merino that makes you money is the key objective, and the balanced approach adopted by the Griffiths and Stud Classer Michael Elmes, is resulting in an all round Merino production unit capable of maximising returns in a variety of markets and enterprises.

All rams are sold on the property (not multi vendor sales) to allow all prospective clients equal opportunity to purchase the top rams.

The wether lambs of ‘Victoria Park’ in 2017 weighed an average of 59 kilograms. I weigh approximately 100,000 lambs a year and that is the record average live weight for Merino lambs I’ve ever weighed.

– Rob Anderson C.J. Anderson and Co, Grenfell

After almost two decades using Brundanella rams we could not be more pleased with the performance of our self replacing merino flock. Large straight frames and excellent wool production has seen our flock evolve into a true dual purpose sheep. We also find Ian’s advice when selecting our rams invaluable given his long association with the merino industry.
